Cattle Barons Ball for American Cancer Society

I was so honored to be asked to help raise money at the Cattle Barons Ball 2007. Cancer has touched so many of our lives. This is one of the American Cancer Society largest fund raisers. Here are a few photos from the event. I was able to work a long side Becky Ditchfield from 9News and two of the Larimer county Miss Larimer County Rodeo Queens.

Here is a bit about the ball taken from the website;
This annual event celebrating our Western heritage and traditions is a fun-filled night of western elegance. Join us in a magnificent white tent in a gorgeous Colorado setting for superb cuisine and an evening of varied western entertainments including dancing, live and silent auctions.
Why: The fight against cancer continues in our community and country every day. One of every four deaths will be caused by cancer this year in the United States of America. The American Cancer Society is dedicated to changing the future for all of us through research, education, advocacy and service. Approaching 100 years of service, the American Cancer Society remains dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing the suffering from cancer.
Prestigious Event History: In its first fourteen years, the Ball has raised two million dollars for cancer research, education, advocacy and service. This year's event will honor cancer patients and their families, including those who have lost their battle with cancer
